Chicken N Pickle, in Grand Prairie, is a regional chain built around the format: 11 courts, five outdoor and six indoor, wrapped around a full-service restaurant, bar and yard games.
At Fault, in Farmers Branch, runs nine courts — five indoor, four outdoor — with instant-replay screens on every indoor court and a scratch-kitchen restaurant attached.
The Sandy Pickle, at The Village Dallas, pairs six pickleball courts with sand volleyball courts, golf simulators and an 18-hole putting course, aimed squarely at a social, drop-in crowd.
Dallas didn't build its pickleball scene around plain courts with a snack bar — nearly every major venue here treats the restaurant and the courts as equally the point.
Public & Free Courts
Cole Park, in Uptown Dallas, is a free, centrally located option with six dedicated outdoor courts and a paddle-rack rotation system — popular enough that wait times during peak morning and evening hours are real. The Aaron Family Jewish Community Center offers indoor and outdoor courts that are free for members and available to non-members for a modest per-person day fee, with lessons and a ball-machine rental available.
